Catholic Religious Emblems Counselor Training July 14

The training session is required in order to be approved as an Emblems counselor.

Here is a checklist of things to do before the class:

• make sure that your BSA Youth Protection Training (YPT) is current.  This online class can be found at my.scouting.org.
• make sure that your Safe Haven/Safe Environment training is current. This online class can be found here: https://www.archgh.org/offices-ministries/office-of-child-and-youth-protection/safe-environment-training-for-adults/
• Purchase or have access to the four Catholic Religious Emblems workbooks.  The Cub Scout programs are Light of Christ and Parvuli Dei.  The activity books for those Emblems are available at the Scout Shop.  The Scouts BSA and Venturers programs are Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII.  The Ad Altare Dei youth manual is available at the Scout Shop or may be ordered online at https://nccsshop.org/product-category/remanuals/.  The Pope Pius participant manual can only be ordered online.  Get these well in advance of the training session in order to review the contents beforehand.
